Who we are
AB Consulting LLC (Delaware, Ohio, USA) runs the invitation and RSVP service at invite.rsvpcircle.com, which hosts use to invite guests to private personal events, and the optional event reminder texts described in our SMS Terms. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. Questions: support@rsvpcircle.com.
What we collect
From the host: the name, spouse's name, mobile phone numbers and email address of each invited family.
From you, when you RSVP: your answer (yes, maybe or no), the number of adults and kids coming, kids' ages if the host asks, optional food preferences, which parts of the event you'll attend, any dish you sign up to bring, an optional spouse's name and note, whether you opted in to reminder texts, and the time of your reply.
From texting: replies such as STOP, HELP and START, and whether each reminder was delivered.
We don't use cookies, advertising, analytics or tracking, and the site loads nothing from other companies' servers.
How we use it
Only to show you the invitation and record your RSVP, to send the event reminder texts you opted in to, to honor STOP requests, and to help the host plan food and seating. We never use your information for marketing.
Sharing
We do not sell, rent or share your personal information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. The only outside company involved is Amazon Web Services, which stores the data and delivers the texts on our behalf and may not use it for anything else. We would disclose information only if required by law.
The host of your event sees your family's RSVP and the contact details they entered. Your RSVP page shows your family's names and answers only, never phone numbers or email.
How long we keep it
RSVP answers, headcounts and kids' ages are cleared before each new event. The host may keep your family's name and numbers to invite you to future events; ask the host or email us to remove them. Records of STOP requests are kept so we never text that number again.
Security
Data is stored in the United States with Amazon Web Services, encrypted, and reachable only by the host and the helpers they sign in. Daily backups are kept for 35 days.
Your choices and rights
You can change your RSVP or untick text reminders on your RSVP page at any time, reply STOP to any text, and ask us to see, correct or delete your information by emailing support@rsvpcircle.com.
Children
The service is for adults. Hosts may record the number and ages of children attending; we don't knowingly collect any other information about children.
Changes
We may update this policy; the effective date above shows the latest version.
